It is July 11, 2011, I'm supposed to have my lunch at 11 am but we had a meeting and it lasted till 11:30 am. I was even planning to eat in SM Manila, I guess that's out of the question now. I decided to go to the nearest 7-eleven store and serendipity must have led me there. Little did I realize that today is actually 7/eleven or July 11. They have in that store all these promos, one of which is the Busog Meal. Normally, you purchase the Busog Meal at 29 pesos but on this very special occasion, it only cost a measley 10 pesos and I just have to buy an extra meal because it was such a good bargain. There a crowd that followed and the limited stocks were emptied before I even finished my first Busog meal. Oh well, better luck next Seven Eleven for those who weren't fortunate enough to avail of the treat. Happy Seven Eleven though. I wonder, is this 7-Eleven's anniversary too?
